## One place for the side quests

Most videos need a few things you didn’t film: a cover image, five seconds of a city at night for the intro, a voiceover for the cold open, or an old burned-in caption that has to go. Since the October 26 release, the AI tools for generating and cleaning up media sit together under Generate in the dashboard, and each one has its own page.

You open the tool for the job, run it, and the result lands in your media library, ready for the edit. The [AI video tools](https://blitzreels.com/ai) page gives the public tour if you want to look around before signing in.

## What’s under Generate

The menu has three groups:

- Create: Images, Videos (from a prompt or an image), Voiceover, Music, Sound effects, and Faceless video, which builds a whole narrated video from a topic.
- Edit: Upscale (images to 4K, videos to 1080p or 4K), Background removal for images, and Text removal for [burned-in captions and text logos](https://blitzreels.com/changelog/remove-text-baked-into-video).
- Library: All generations, your [Characters](https://blitzreels.com/changelog/characters-that-belong-to-the-same-story), and Voices, where you keep saved voices and clone your own.

Voice cloning starts with a few samples of clean speech and a short consent recording: the speaker reads a sentence agreeing that the workspace may create a synthetic copy of their voice. A workspace can keep five active voices at a time.

## Pick a model without reading a spec sheet

The Images and Videos tools open on a short Popular list, so you can start without comparing a dozen model names. Pick All to see the rest, or one provider to see only its models, then search by name or sort by price. Video models show what they’re good at, like fast video, motion with audio or long scenes, and the longest clip they can make.

You see the price in credits before anything runs: per image for images, per clip length for video, and an estimate based on your file for upscaling and text removal. For a closer look, the [AI video models page](https://blitzreels.com/ai/video-models) compares them.

## How to use it

Every tool follows the same pattern:

1. Open Generate from the dashboard sidebar.
2. Pick a tool from the Create, Edit or Library groups.
3. Write your prompt, or choose the file you want to work on.
4. Choose a model and settings, and check the credit cost.
5. Run it. The result is saved to your media library, and All generations lists everything you’ve made.

From there, add the result to a project like any other media. A generated city shot becomes B-roll under your talking head. A voiceover becomes the first track of a [faceless video](https://blitzreels.com/faceless-video-generation) you assemble by hand, or you let Faceless video build the whole thing.

Say you’re cutting a 60-second recipe Short from your cooking footage. You make the thumbnail in Images, a three-second close-up of steam rising from the pan in Videos for the opening, a quick voiceover for the tip at the end, and a sizzle in Sound effects for the first cut. Four tools, one menu, and everything waits in your media library when you open the edit.

## Access, credits and limits

The AI tools need an active paid plan, from Starter up, or the trial that doesn’t ask for a card. The trial includes 10 AI credits. On a paid plan, credits come with your monthly allowance; [pricing](https://blitzreels.com/pricing) shows what each plan includes. Generate still carries a Beta label in the sidebar.

Every generation uses credits, and the amount depends on the tool, the model and the length. Results also vary from model to model, so look at each one before it goes into a video. Upscaling and text removal save a new file and keep your original as it was.

## Questions

### Where are the AI tools in BlitzReels?

Under Generate in the dashboard. Each tool has its own page, grouped into Create, Edit and Library.

### Do I need a paid plan to use the AI tools?

You need an active paid plan, from Starter up, or the no-card trial, which includes 10 AI credits.

### How do I know what a generation costs?

The cost in credits is shown before you run anything. It depends on the tool, the model and the length of what you make.

### Can I clone my own voice?

Yes, under Voices. You upload samples of clean speech and record a short consent statement, and a workspace can keep five active voices.

### Where do generated images and videos go?

Into your media library, so you can add them to any project. All generations, under Library, lists everything you’ve made.
