Status: Product update

Your short clips and the full conversation can share one page. Clip collections now include the original YouTube episode for viewers who want more.

## Leave the door open to the full conversation

A short clip can be someone’s first meeting with your video, and sometimes they’ll want to keep watching. We added the original YouTube episode to public clip collection pages, so the short moments and the full recording live together.

A useful excerpt doesn’t always answer every question raised by the conversation around it. Keeping the episode on the share page gives an interested viewer a natural next step, while giving the creator a way to share a short moment without losing its connection to the longer recording.

## One link for the people you’re sharing with

The collection gives collaborators, clients, and viewers a place to watch the clips and return to their source. We also made the next steps in the clipping flow clearer, including the signup required before a guest can download a ZIP.

If you’re sending a collection to a client or collaborator, they can see the selected moments and find their context from the same link. If you’re sharing with an audience, someone who enjoys a clip can carry on with the full episode instead of having to search for the source.

## Share a few moments, with the whole story nearby

Start with a YouTube recording and explore the clips you could bring together in a collection.
