## Room to work on your video

The summer editor brought the timeline, media library, and properties panel together, so you could see how the pieces of a project fit. We like an editor where you can look at the sequence, move things around, and keep your source material within reach.

The reason to work on this was practical: editing depends on seeing when things happen in relation to each other. A visual sequence makes it easier to understand where a piece belongs and how one decision affects the next, while the properties panel keeps its settings close by.

## An edit you can take with you

July also brought the work needed to render a project and retrieve the finished video, ready to use outside the browser. Captions, overlays, and generated clips would later share this timeline, with room to review and adjust each edit before exporting.

For someone making a video, that brings the whole job into view: arrange the material, check the result, then make the file you can share. The timeline also leaves room to return to the project and refine the edit before committing to another export.
