Status: Product update

BlitzReels starts suggesting short clips from longer recordings, so you can spend more time choosing an edit and less time searching for it.

## Start with a few moments to consider

Finding a short clip inside a long recording can mean a lot of scrubbing back and forth. We added AI suggestions directly to the source video, giving you candidate segments to review alongside the original recording and its processing progress.

The work before the edit can be the hardest part to get started on: deciding which moment deserves its own video. Giving you a few candidates changes that first task into something more concrete, because you can react to actual passages and decide whether each one makes sense on its own.

## You still choose the story

The suggestions give you a place to start, with the source nearby when you want more context. This was the beginning of the clipping flow that later brought moment selection, reframing, captions, and export into the same studio.

For a podcast or a long conversation, this means you can spend your attention on the choice: is the idea clear, does it need more context, and is it a moment you want to share? The suggested segment is material to work with, while the editorial decision stays with you.

Start with a recording you know and review the moments it could become.
