Reframe and caption a recording

Check the frame where people will watch

For a talking-head clip, keep the face and caption block away from the right-hand action buttons. For a screen recording, fit the full slide or demonstration inside the frame before adding captions. Preview the first, middle and last frames: a safe opening does not protect a moving subject later.

A feed preview, full-screen video and profile thumbnail can crop differently. A longer post description or an ad call-to-action also changes the visible area. Leave extra space and inspect the intended placement.

TikTok publishes separate safe-zone templates for in-feed ads. Those depend on the ad format and caption length; they are not universal organic-video dimensions.
