Add BlitzReels to Mistral's Le Chat as a custom MCP connector, on any plan. Clip videos, fix captions, generate faceless videos and export from Le Chat.

## Direct Answer

Add BlitzReels to Le Chat as a custom MCP connector, then ask Mistral to clip a long video, fix captions, generate a faceless video or export it.

## Positioning

Use Le Chat when you prefer Mistral's assistant. Custom connectors are available on every Le Chat plan, including Free.

## Workflow

Le Chat connects custom MCP servers by URL with OAuth. BlitzReels uses the standard MCP connection, the same one ChatGPT and Claude use.

- In Le Chat, open Connectors from the side panel and choose Add Connector.
- Open the Custom MCP Connector tab.
- Name it BlitzReels and paste https://blitzreels.com/api/mcp.
- Click Connect and sign in to BlitzReels.
- In a conversation, open Tools and turn BlitzReels on.
- Ask for clips, captions, a faceless video or an export.

## Capabilities

- Clip long videos from a link or an upload
- Apply caption looks and correct caption words
- Generate faceless videos, images, voiceovers and music
- Start exports and return download links

## Example Prompts

- Découpe les 3 meilleurs moments de cette vidéo YouTube en clips verticaux sous-titrés.
- Make a 60-second faceless video about the history of the Eiffel Tower.

## Limitations

- On team accounts, an administrator adds the connector first.
- Le Chat may not refresh the tool list on its own; re-add the connector after BlitzReels adds tools.
- Setup steps follow Mistral's help center; Mistral may rename the menu.

## FAQ

### Does Le Chat support custom MCP connectors on the free plan?

Yes. Mistral offers custom MCP connectors on every Le Chat plan, including Free.

### Can I ask in French?

Yes. Ask in French or English; BlitzReels detects the spoken language of your video for captions.
