Add BlitzReels to Perplexity as a custom remote connector. Clip long videos, fix captions, generate faceless videos and export from Perplexity.

## Direct Answer

Add BlitzReels to Perplexity as a custom remote connector, then research a topic and turn it into clips or a faceless video in the same conversation.

## Positioning

Use Perplexity when the video starts with research. Find the facts, then ask BlitzReels to turn them into a narrated faceless video or caption a clip.

## Workflow

Perplexity connects custom remote MCP servers with OAuth. BlitzReels uses the standard Streamable HTTP connection, the same one ChatGPT and Claude use.

- In Perplexity, open Account Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Custom connector, then Remote.
- Name it BlitzReels and paste https://blitzreels.com/api/mcp; keep OAuth and Streamable HTTP.
- Add the connector, then click its card to sign in to BlitzReels.
- Ask Perplexity for research, then for a faceless video or clips built from it.
- Review the result in the BlitzReels editor before you export.

## Capabilities

- Turn researched facts into a faceless video script
- Clip long videos from a link or an upload
- Apply caption looks and correct caption words
- Start exports and return download links

## Example Prompts

- Research 5 surprising facts about octopuses, then make a 45-second faceless video from them.
- Clip the key argument from this YouTube debate as a vertical clip with captions.

## Limitations

- Perplexity offers custom connectors on Pro, Max and Enterprise plans.
- Setup steps follow Perplexity's help center; Perplexity may move the menu.
- Generation and exports use your BlitzReels credits and plan limits.
