Does this tool remove a green screen from video?

This page processes images and exports transparent PNG files. It does not process video.

Can I remove blue or another color?

Yes. Select the solid background color in the color picker. Green spill reduction applies only when green is the dominant key color.

Why are parts of my subject disappearing?

Chroma key removes matching colors everywhere in the image. Reduce tolerance and edge softness if your subject contains the background color. Complex backgrounds may need the separate AI background remover.

How do I fix rough green edges?

Use a key color close to the actual background, increase tolerance carefully, then add edge softness. Reduce green edge spill can help at partly transparent boundaries; inspect the full-size PNG afterward.

Are the preview and download the same size?

The preview is limited to 960 pixels on its longest side for responsiveness. The PNG retains the original dimensions, up to 16 megapixels, using the same color-removal settings.
