How to use it
Choose your source video
Select a video up to 512 MB. Wait for its preview so you can check what will appear in the vertical frame.
Crop or fit to 1080 × 1920
Choose Crop to fill for a full-height Reel, or Fit whole video to preserve all edges. Keep captions away from the frame’s bottom and sides.
Review the MP4 in Instagram
Download and play the full export, then check Instagram’s upload preview for framing, captions and the duration allowed on your account.

A 9:16 starting point
Export 1080 × 1920 for a vertical Reel. Use 4:5 for a separate portrait-feed version or choose another available shape.
Keep slides and products visible
Fit whole video retains the source frame with black bars. Crop to fill lets you choose a fixed region for full-frame output.
Preview the crop you selected
The first-frame export preview uses the same crop as conversion. It is a framing check; play the final export to check movement.
H.264 MP4 with sound
Export H.264 video and AAC audio when present. Unsupported video or audio tracks stop conversion instead of silently disappearing.

Choose a frame that keeps the useful content
Instagram Reels video size: 1080 × 1920 pixels
Use the 9:16 preset for a vertical MP4 that is 1080 pixels wide and 1920 pixels tall. The output frame has that size whether you crop to fill it or fit the whole recording inside it.

Crop to fill
Useful for one speaker or product. Select a fixed region, then review the whole export in case the subject moves out of it.
Fit whole video
Useful for slides, tutorials and several speakers. Every source edge remains visible, with black bars around the unused space.
Resizing changes the frame and pixel dimensions. It does not shorten a recording, track a speaker automatically, or guarantee sharper detail.
Keep landscape video and captions visible
For a 16:9 recording, Crop to fill removes content from the sides. Move the crop onto your subject, then check the opening, speaker changes and ending. Choose Fit whole video if faces, slides or existing captions would be cut off; the bars keep the original frame intact. A resizer cannot move captions already burned into the source.
Use the Instagram upload preview to check captions and framing. Duration options can differ by upload flow; this tool does not promise a fixed 90-second limit.
