Keeps every edge, with black bars above and below. Useful when slides or existing captions need the full width.
Download MP4The crop stays fixed throughout the clip. Review moving faces and any captions already in your video. A 1080 × 1920 export does not add detail that was missing from the source.
Keep text clear of the app controls with the caption safe-zone guide. For moving speakers, make clips with automatic reframing.
How to use it
Choose a video up to 512 MB
Load a recording your browser can play. The tool checks the video and shows its first frame before you resize it.
Choose your 9:16 framing
Keep the 1080 × 1920 default. Use Crop to fill and drag the crop box, or Fit whole video to keep every edge with bars.
Download and review your Short
Export an H.264 MP4 and check the full video. Resizing keeps its duration: trim recordings longer than three minutes before uploading them as Shorts.
What you get
1080 × 1920 vertical output
The 9:16 default fills a vertical phone frame. Square and other shapes remain available when you need a different output.
Crop or keep the whole recording
Crop around a speaker, or fit the whole frame to keep slides and screen recordings readable. The export preview follows your selected crop.
Check long recordings before export
A video longer than three minutes gets a reminder to trim or create shorter clips. Changing its shape does not shorten it.
Free browser export
Download without a watermark or account. Processing stays on your device; browser codec support and available memory still apply.

Crop to fill
Useful for one speaker or product. Select a fixed region, then review the whole export in case the subject moves out of it.
Fit whole video
Useful for slides, tutorials and several speakers. Every source edge remains visible, with black bars around the unused space.
Resizing changes the frame and pixel dimensions. It does not shorten a recording, track a speaker automatically, or guarantee sharper detail.
Keep landscape video and captions visible
For a 16:9 recording, Crop to fill removes content from the sides. Move the crop onto your subject, then check the opening, speaker changes and ending. Choose Fit whole video if faces, slides or existing captions would be cut off; the bars keep the original frame intact. A resizer cannot move captions already burned into the source.
YouTube’s upload guidance allows square or vertical Shorts up to three minutes. Check the duration before uploading.
